Despite wanting to see this film in cinemas, I only just got around to watching Milk. I found myself really drawn to this movie, and I engaged with it far more than most films. The direction is great, the storyline intriguing and suspensful, and Sean Penn’s performance is outstanding. I suppose I have a bias towards beacuse of personal issues, but I found it interesting to see how far (and how little) US society has come since the 1970’s. I really reccomend seeing this film.
